Here are the basic forum - even basic nettiquette - rules from Justin's original post.
These rules apply to all of the general forums on pvspeech. The moderators of other forums may choose to alter aspects of these rules for their forums. In the absence of any posted changes, however, all posters to all forums will be held to this set of rules.
- Listen to moderators. Moderators put in a lot of work into keeping the pvspeech community alive. It's important that you not only listen to them when they ask you to do something, but that you continually follow their requests. We all make mistakes, but I will have zero tollerance for those who continually flout the moderators.
- Be respectful. This is common sense. If you're disrespectful towards someone, your posts will be deleted and you'll be banned from the forum. It's that simple.
- Don't be disruptive. A few posters have recently found great amusement in disrupting what are otherwise excellent conversations. There is no excuse for posting nonsense, and it will no longer be tollerated. The moderators and admins will designate what is and isn't disruptive on a case-by-case basis. When you disrupt a thread, you force the moderators to waste their time cleaning up your mess and you force everyone to wade through your drivel to find the meaningful posts. Purposefully disrupting discussions is a bannable offense. Just use your common sense and don't purposely get in the way of a conversation and you'll be fine.
