+44 - "Lillian"

Good band - I used to like blink-182 (always preferred Mark to Tom) - these guys are pretty good, more "mature" than blink. Stupidest name though - even beats some of the worst modern "let's use a number!" groups (blink-182, sum 41, etc).

Wait, was the old pvspeech a forum for people to post what music that they think makes them cool and eclectic, so everyone sees that they're super individual?

Oh, it was?

Okay, carry on then.

A simple "yes" would suffice, as opposed to the some five posts after mine that merely represented the phenomena I was describing. Although these, in their own way, clearly answered the question in the affirmative, something more direct would help me out next time.

Thanks!

Yes, Keaton, I post just what I want people to see, to judge my personality. Because, like everyone else on here, I give at least two shits what people think of the music I listen to. Mostly this thread (if you haven't noticed) is simply to find out what kind of music people like, sometimes finding out you have similar tastes as someone, but for Christ's sake, not judging them by it.

But in keeping with the true nature of this thread (unlike Keaton) I will post what I'm listening to now: Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry".

Quit while you're ego's satisfied. It's really immature.

It's time to be a big girl now, Keaton.

"Hey There Delilah" -Plain White T's
and in the background my brother singing "Behind Blue Eyes"

I appreciate your sentiment James, but the sexist dig was unnecessary.
Keaton- Music is really personal (and this is posted for the entire school to see), so it makes sense to post stuff you really like and artists you respect. Yes your observation is mostly correct, but you came off really patronizing.
I like this thread because I haven't been exposed to most of the music. Also it's interesting to know what other people like (I've been lurking for a while now, posting stuff online freaks me out).

and now Dar Williams "Mark Rothko Song"

OH MY GEE, James posted Fergie, there's no way he is trying to prove anything about posting the music he is listening to if he would post that, especially not proving that he doesn't care!

Anna, the whole school is not reading pvspeech, much less this thread, BELIEVE ME. Sure people may be using this to find new music, but there's definitely an element of trying to seem cool.

Sorry Anna, I wasn't aiming for anything sexist with that. Keaton just seems to be permanently PMSing or something. Apologies, I've never been good at hypothesizing, just ask Bobrow.

Honestly, I'm just about as far from a sexist as any guy can be.

Something by Panic at the Disco, I'm not sure why.

I like how you subconsciously made another sexist dig in that apology.

It's alright, James; we know.

The only reason I keep coming back to PVSpeech is for Keaton. Sorry guys, you might as well admit now that he's smarter and much more correct than you almost always. 'Cause you know he won't admit when he's not, which is rare anyway, and gosh he's funny.
